Assignment 1

I am so excited for the summer abroad in Oviedo, I think it will be beautiful there. I think it will take a little time to adjust to living with my host family, especially considering the language barrier but I hope that being forced to speak Spanish at home too will help me to learn more quickly. My biggest fear is that I won't get along with my host family and I think it's going to be hard for me to be away from my family and boyfriend for so long. I might become overwhelmed hearing, learning, and speaking spanish all day every day but the group outings should help with that. I'm really looking forward to the start of the program, meeting my host family, learning a new language, and experiencing a different culture. I am also looking forward to meeting new people and making new friends, this is giong to be the experience of a lifetime and I hope to make the most of it!
